Celebrating Art Education

Yes, it’s true! Arts & Activities magazine is celebrating its 75th year of serving art educators throughout the nation. Since its beginnings in 1932, Arts & Activities is the place where art teachers know they will find the help they need: lesson plans, resources, ideas and information to help them be the best teacher possible.

For 75 years, Arts & Activities has provided a way for educators from all over the country (and often the world) to exchange ideas, share their success and make professional connections. Indeed, it is a time to celebrate! In fact, if it weren’t for you, we could not have made it this far.

It’s only fitting then, to thank you—wonderful, faithful, talented you—for everything you’ve done to help us maintain our place as a top-quality K–12 art-education resource. It has been through the materials you send in that we have been a part of the vital cause to keep art front and center in the minds of students, parents, the education community and the public. We will continue to do whatever we can to keep art-education awareness at a high level throughout the country.

We are honored that you have invited us into your professional and personal life for so many years. Through it all, and on into the future, our mission remains constant: to assist you in making sure students have quality art experiences essential to their education as a whole.

Yes, our look may have changed since 1932, but our concern for you and your students has never faltered. Rest assured, it never will.
